Carrie's Flight

Grandma's Closet Book One

carrie's flight cover.JPG

She actually flies! The antique wings Grandma left – lift her into the sky.

This is the first in a quartet of dream-fulfilment stories, all of which explore the boxes Grandma left in the closet marked KEEP.

Piers Anthony, author of A Spell for Chameleon, says:

“‘Carrie's Flight’ is a fun children's story, with the illustrations as important as the text. Children dream of flying, so this should appeal to them. Just put on the magic wings, flap your arms, and voila! You can fly. I also found the information on starlings interesting.

This makes me wonder just what is in the three other boxes Grandma left. There are surely interesting stories there, too."
